Bill Coen

Bill Coen is an Associate with a dual role at Graham Street Realty and Hamilton Zanze, where he supports transactions and asset management across both commercial and multifamily portfolios. He also contributes to key initiatives within the General Partner Fund.

Before joining the firm, Bill completed a fellowship at Hamilton Ventures, a Washington D.C.-based venture capital firm focused on real estate technology. In that role, he conducted investment due diligence, analyzed market trends, and tracked portfolio company performance.

Bill holds an M.S. in Real Estate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an M.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University. He earned his B.A. in Communications from Saint Mary’s College of California, where he was a member of the back-to-back national champion rugby team.

A fourth-generation Bay Area native from Pacifica, Bill enjoys spending time with friends and family—especially his wife and their rescue dog, Ruby—and cheering on the San Francisco 49ers.
