Senior Director

Sidney So joined Hamilton Zanze as controller in December 2017 and is now a Senior Director on the Finance team. Prior to joining HZ, he worked as a fund controller at MacFarlane Partners and a senior fund manager at Hellman & Friedman, managing various multimillion- and multibillion-dollar funds. Sidney obtained his CPA during his career at Ernst & Young, where he was a manager in the assurance practice, servicing public and private real estate clients in the Bay Area.

Sidney is a San Francisco native and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of San Francisco, where he earned a BSBA in Accounting.
