Denver Was 2014’s Top Commercial Real Estate Market

hamilton-zanze February 20, 2015

The Denver commercial real estate market ranked first in the nation last year, according to the Coldwell Banker Commercial Market Comparison Report. The CRE markets of Houston, Phoenix, and Las Vegas all ranked in the top 10 as well, coming in at third, sixth, and eighth, respectively.

Denver’s climb from the 10th spot last year can be primarily attributed to the city’s record-breaking job growth, construction, and economic expansion in energy, healthcare, and technology. This year’s top growth markets are largely outside the core cities, a sign that commercial real estate recovery is broadening.
