Four Hotels Coming to Northern Houston

Woodbine Development Corp. announced plans to develop four hotels near the Exxon Mobil Corp. campus in the Woodlands submarket of Houston, TX. The projects are expected to generate construction and service industry jobs in the local economy.

Analysts have noted the need for more hotel rooms in the area, which is home to Exxon’s 385-acre campus and Southwestern Energy Co.’s new headquarters. The first of the hotels, a 128-room Residence Inn, is slated to open in the summer of 2015.
