New Mexico Adds Jobs in Albuquerque, Statewide

As reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico continue to recover jobs lost during the recession. Metro Albuquerque gained 3,200 jobs in the year as of November 30th, representing a 0.86% growth rate, bringing the metro area’s labor force to 373,200 workers—nearly 80% of which is in the private sector. Statewide, New Mexico added 1,700 jobs over the same span for a 0.2% growth rate.
