Reno Home Sales and Prices Continue Healthy Growth

The latest report from the Northern Nevada Regional Multiple Listing Service reveals that sales of existing single-family homes in Reno increased 9% year-over-year in September. The median sales price also grew, rising 23% from the previous year to $227,950. The median price hit a post-recession low at $135,000 in January 2012. Although these jumps are encouraging, total sales in the county slipped from the 608 reported in August (the most ever recorded for that month).
