Tourism Activity Picks Up in Las Vegas

A report showed Las Vegas had 13.7 million visitors in the first four months of 2014—up 4.8% from 2013’s record pace. Hotel and motel occupancy rates were up on both the Strip and in downtown, while Laughlin and Mesquite also showed gains in visitor volume.

Increased tourism activity has led to an improvement in Las Vegas employment levels.
