USAA to Hire 150 Workers at New Plano IT Center

hamilton-zanze February 03, 2014

Insurance and financial services firm USAA has turned a former AT&T campus in Plano, TX into an IT center and plans to add 150 new high-tech workers to the facility by the end of 2014. USAA’s IT department has already moved 60 employees into the space in January.

USAA purchased the Plano office complex in 2013 and is still in the process of fully developing the entire workspace, which totals 240,000 square feet. The company has been on the forefront of tech developments in banking, inventing the feature that allows customers to deposit checks with their smartphones. It is expected that the new staff, along with 2,6000 IT workers in San Antonio, will further USAA’s website and mobile app capabilities.
