Ashlee Cabeal

Ashlee Cabeal is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Hamilton Zanze, where she has been instrumental in shaping the financial strategy and leading the launch of key initiatives, including the HZ Evergreen Fund in 2024 and the firm’s first discretionary general partner fund, HZ GP Fund I, in 2022. These initiatives have bolstered the firm’s financial agility and expanded its investment capabilities.

As CFO, Ashlee leads and mentors a high-performing team of 18 finance and accounting professionals, driving the firm’s financial operations and ensuring strong fiscal management across all projects.

Previously, Ashlee served as Senior Director on the HZ Transactions team, overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing efforts, with expertise in deal sourcing, underwriting, and loan originations.

She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Audit Associate, focusing on banking and private equity clients. Ashlee holds a B.S. in Accounting and a B.B.A. in Marketing from Loyola Marymount University, and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Davis. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in California.
