“Organizations are looking to leave vanishing footprints.
Some quick items to consider—on paper—include low-flow water fixtures like showerheads, faucets and toilets, smart thermostats, xeriscaping to conserve water, preventative maintenance to stave off and identify risks, LED lighting, better insulation around doors and windows and recycling. These options are only part of the operations to help ensure a sustainable living environment at a community.
Cost, portfolio size and implementation feasibility are also important. A building with only a handful of doors or a portfolio of thousands, there is the potential for a financial impact to begin facilitating these solutions no matter the scale. Ultimately, through research and analysis, there is the prospect of financial and sustainability success for stakeholders, employees and residents.”
