Institutional Partners

Hamilton Zanze has worked productively with its institutional partners in a variety of structures to access multifamily opportunities. These vehicles include single asset joint ventures, programmatic joint ventures, and more recently, discretionary funds.

Institutional Options
Single Asset Joint Ventures
Our joint venture platform allows our investment partners to work with a seasoned, vertically integrated, institutional platform. We work with best-in-class capital partners where we can meaningfully invest general partner capital alongside our partners ensuring incentives and actions are clearly aligned.
Programmatic Joint Ventures
We are in a relationship driven business. We view a more formalized investment program via programmatic joint ventures and separate accounts as a natural way for our capital partners focused on control to invest in our best thinking and resultant deal flow.
Discretionary Funds
Starting with the higher return oriented, $52m fundraise of HZ General Partner (GP) Fund I in 2023, our discretionary funds platform will continue to be a growth area for the firm. In 2024, we’ll begin raising capital for a seeded, multi-billion dollar, long duration structure focused on capital preservation and cash flow.
