Colorado Multifamily Construction Up 72%

Based on Colorado’s 52,400 year-over-year increase in jobs in May 2013, job growth is on pace to surpass the forecasted 1.8% by 0.7%. Nearly every industry recorded year-over-year employment growth, particularly in the construction, professional and business services, and leisure and hospitality sectors.

As of May 2013, real estate construction in the state had increased dramatically year-over-year, with multifamily construction rising by 72% and single-family construction by 41%.
