In Seattle, 31% of homes for sale will receive an offer within two weeks, according to Seattle-based real estate brokerage Redfin. That places the city well above the 27.2% national average and makes it the ninth-fastest among the markets surveyed. In Seattle, a listing will spend a median of 24 days before an offer is made, the sixth-fastest in the country. San Jose, CA leads the country in housing inventory turnover, with offers submitted after a median of just 12 days.
