Startup Culture Gets a Boost in Colorado Springs

Peak Venture Group and Startup Colorado Springs have merged to create Peak Startup, whose mission is to cultivate innovation and entrepreneurialism in Colorado Springs. The merger of the two nonprofits reflects their similar visions and will provide local entrepreneurs with more events, tools, and resources to grow their startups.

A study performed by the Kaufman Foundation showed that startups account for nearly all U.S. job growth. The board of both companies was unanimous in approving the merger to further bolster the startup community in Colorado Springs. The co-founder of Startup Colorado Springs, Nick Lee, says, “We are looking forward to some of the great things we can do as a group with combined resources.”
