Tigard Firm Fabricating Steel for Portland Skyscraper

hamilton-zanze April 12, 2014

Tigard, OR-based company Fought & Co. is fabricating 3,600 tons of steel for Park Avenue West, a 30-story skyscraper that will house retail, office, and residential space in downtown Portland.

Construction of the skyscraper has been halted over the past few years due to several redesigns. Now, TMT Development is moving ahead once again with the 546,000-square-foot mixed-use development.

Upon its completion in 2016, Park Avenue West will be the fourth tallest building in Portland. Not only will this project create construction jobs in the immediate future, but it will also generate new business and employment opportunities when completed.
