Union Chief Optimistic Boeing Will Select Washington

Tom Wroblewski, President of Washington state’s Machinists union, urged members to unite with the International Association of Machinists in approving the Boeing contract to build the 777X jetliner in the Puget Sound region.

Wroblewski outlined several reasons that he remains optimistic that Boeing will select Washington, highlighting the immense tax incentive package approved by the state’s legislature. The package is over five times the size of any other state’s offer.
